It was a special moment, when I first looked outside the window of my hotel room, 10th floor, in Surabaya. Double Happiness:  the lettering of a restaurant located in an area, where business quarters and slums are overlapping, is coevally the display of a promise and a schizophrenic synonym for a state of system (and mind), that is torn between modernization and tradition. In a more personal sense, it became my leading image during and after that journey. Double Happiness for life.
