Sarah Bernauer’s installation ‚Milky Ways’ thematizes how sexuality is practiced on the Internet, exposing tensions between the publicness of online forums and the anonymity of how that sexuality is practiced at home, without any physical contact between participants. Her exploration of digital exchange reveals how it both transforms and commodifies privacy and desire.
